Later....
Today, we completed our Guided Reading rotation, in English. All Guided Reading activities are due tomorrow, except for today's Reading Response Journal group - they may have another couple of days to complete their letter if they need it.
Ensure that you have completed your Word Study and that you are prepared for your spelling test tomorrow. Also make sure that you have completed your A.P.E. response and have handed it in for evaluation.
In Math today, we had Gap Closing. My group completed a diagnostic for Decimal Computations. Adding and subtracting decimals to the hundredth position, as well as multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 were our focus.
In French, students had their Monday morning dictée, included were last week's spelling words, the verbs faire and explorer, as well as the following paragraph:
Students who had difficulty with this paragraph should study it tonight and be prepared to try again tomorrow. We also continued our study of the use of the verb faire through a camping unit, that will help us determine when to employ the verb with activities (expressions avec faire). Some students may have so homework in this area.
