SANTA'S WORKSHOP!
The grade 8s have been working ever so hard to create a wonderful Santa's workshop for Admiral. All classes were invited to visit the workshop, meet Santa, make a craft, and receive a gift! What a team those Grade 8s are. They put on the most amazing display! Thank you!

I've added the Trees of Life to the Gustav Klimt post, please go back to view the students' art - it is worth the return visit!

Gustav Klimt: Tree of Life
Gustav Klimt
In the form of Gustav Klimt, Austrian Symbolist painter of Nouveau Vienna Art, we have painted our very own Tree of Life. We borrowed this art lesson from Deep Space Sparkle CLICK HERE.

ARTISTS AT WORK
I am not sure if I have permission to post the finish product as some students want to give a Tree of Life as a Christmas gift for somebody special on their list. You may notice that some students have finished their tree and have moved on to out Catching a Snowflake oil pastel project, to be posted soon.
Someone was talking to me when I photographed the artwork, so I got confused and couldn't remember which ones I had already photographed, so there will be doubles...I am going to post quickly rather than sort through. Some artist still have some finishing touches to add, so their work is not yet posted. I also took pictures with the flash, then again without because I wasn't sure which would look better...
