February Field Trip to Simcoe County Museum
In early February, we enjoyed a field trip to the SC Museum. We spent the day learning about the Wendat people. We rotated through five activities, a history lesson in the longhouse, storytelling of the Huron Creation Story, clay art, snake race (I am sure this had a traditional Wendat name, but it eludes me), and snowshoeing.
