MONDAY, MONDAY SO GOOD TO ME. MONDAY, MONDAY, IT WAS ALL I HOPED IT WOULD BE...

REMINDER: PLEASE RETURN SIGNED PERMISSION FORM TO WALK TO THE GAIETY THEATER TO SEE OUR SCHOOL MUSICAL, THE LITTLE  MERMAID, TOMORROW.  IF YOU LOST YOUR FORM, PLEASE BRING IN A NOTE FROM YOUR PARENT.  WE ALSO REQUIRE PERMISSION FORMS FOR OUR DAY AT BLUE MOUNTAIN A.S.A.P.

Performing Arts

Students began the day by performing their dances.  With Mme Bosse's class, students choreographed their own dance, then performed for both classes.  There are a few more groups to perform tomorrow.  Afterwards, we saw the final group from Mme Bosse's class present their skit.

Some days, work is so much fun, I can't believe they pay me to do it!

Science with Mr. Kemsley...and in any spare minute during the day...

In Science, students worked on building mechanical structures.

I don't know how it happened, but somehow this catapult kept launching missiles throughout the day!

Don't fret, you'll get it working

Transformational Geometry Continued - students worked on solving each other's problems from Friday.

If you were away today or Friday, click on the Geometry and Spacial Sense Guide to Effective Instruction p. 156-174.

Our new student and Nate hitting it off like best buddies - working hard together.

 English Descriptive Writing

Today students began with a small group game of 20 Questions to help them focus on detail.  Then they brainstormed ideas for a topic for their descriptive writing piece, planned out their ideas using a graphic organizer, and some even began the rough copy of their descriptive paragraph.

Found a few projects that never made it to our blog in the past:

Such a beautiful sunny Monday, I went home and grilled salmon for my family while enjoying the outdoors!
